Itel has unveiled a new addition to its affordable smartphone series in India with the arrival of the Itel A90. Positioned as the follow-up to the Itel A80, this device is designed to handle daily tasks smoothly and offers a near-stock Android interface.
The Itel A90 features a 6.6-inch high-definition plus screen that stays active continuously, offering a dynamic interaction area and a smooth 90 Hz viewing experience.
The handset, developed by a company based in China, is powered by an eight-core Unisoc T7100 chipset, paired with 4 GB memory and internal space expandable to 128 GB. It operates on the lightweight Android 14 Go platform.
It is equipped with a 13-megapixel main shooter on the back and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
This smartphone comes equipped with a 5,000 mAh power unit and includes a 10-watt charging adapter in the box.
To enhance security, the device offers facial recognition and a fingerprint scanner positioned on the side. Additional highlights include a Dynamic Bar notch at the top, a zoom slider located on the right edge, DTS audio support, and the Aivana 2.0 artificial intelligence assistant.
This phone features an IP54 certification, providing protection against dust particles and water.
Available in shades of Starlit Black and Space Titanium, the Itel A90 is priced at ₹6,499 for the 64 GB model and ₹6,999 for the 128 GB variant.
