Seeking inspiration from the expressionist artist Barnett Newman, India's foremost beachwear designers Shivan and Naresh named their latest collection Zip after the artist's single stroke of colour that he used to define the spatial structure of his paintings.

The collection celebrates the expressionist's works and renders in it the 1950s American holiday spirit.

Rikee Chatterjee opens the show sporting a trikini that was inspired from one of Newman's untitled work from 1969.
