Arjun Khanna hosted an exclusive all-menswear line at the Lakme Fashion Week. And what a show it was! Photographs by Uttam Ghosh

Minutes after concluding what was without a doubt one of the most flamboyant shows at the Lakme Fashion Week, Arjun Khanna talked about the lack of menswear shows in fashion weeks.

His displeasure was justified. It is safe to say that there is little or no fashion awareness amongst Indian men.

In it then, Khanna's line that paid a tribute to the messenger boys of yore was a bold attempt at educating the Indian male about fashion.

Khanna is a collector, restorer and curator of antique motorbikes and bicycles. Seen here is a classic vintage Raleigh.

The line, Out of Sight, Out of Mind, was (as he himself puts it) the wardrobe of a fashionable cyclist.

So you had plenty of culottes, messenger bags and men's accessories that dominated the collection.
