Engineer-turned-designer Javed Khan opened the show with a surreal fashion story on the ramp.

His unisex collection showcased a line of garments with a marked futuristic touch, which at times bordered on adventurous fashion.

Riding high on the comfort and wearability, Javed's designs were inspired by both age and time -- they ranged from modern, artistic, soft, washed and muted.

Denims and cottons formed the perfect textures for the spring-summer collection.

The silhouettes were rugged in flavour that gave an edgy fashionable slant to the garments.

There were grungy, kitschy rebellious creations too, with lots of random print and solid patchwork.

The line was dominated by denim double breast jackets, rompers, frayed fake waistcoat over shirts, and printed trousers.

Bermudas worn over cargoes and military jacket with rear flap pockets were quite conventional.

Up next was designer duo Shikha and Vinita's ethereal collection titled Leafage.

True to the theme, Kavita Kharyat is seen wearing a pale blue sheer drape replete with texture detailing and foliage embellishments.

Multiple layering in gauze, cotton and silk were detailed with cords, tapes, pleats and thread couching to create interesting textures.

Last year's GenNext designer Sneha Arora also showcased her collection on Day Three.

Titled I Believe I can Fly, her designs were inspired by the sense of freedom and fearlessness of the modern day woman.

We must say it took us on a memory trip to the 70s.

Wide leg trousers like the one worn by this model make an ideal option for humid summer days.

The midis and maxis were meant for a more formal audience.

Bold bird prints decorated upon flowing solids broke the monotony.

Choice of pure silks, silk linen blends and linens worked best for the theme.

The flowy organza yoke styled dress and orange blazer is perfect for a relaxed evening.
