Huawei, the well-known smartphone brand from China, has introduced its latest premium handset -- the Pura 80 Ultra -- with a strong focus on advanced mobile photography.
The handset has 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display that delivers ultra-smooth visuals with its 120Hz refresh rate and shines brilliantly with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.
The international edition will offer 4G connectivity and operates on EMUI 1.5, which is built on an Android foundation.
Audio-wise, it features stereo speakers for rich, immersive sound, though it skips the traditional 3.5mm headphone port.
The device introduces a brand-new AI Smart Controls key -- instant access to handy tools like its camera, torch and an AI lens -- making everyday tasks quicker and more seamless.
The device boasts IP68 and IP69 ratings, sealed against dust and can withstand strong water sprays as well as being submerged in water, upto 2 m deep, for half an hour.
The international model of the Pura 80 Ultra will include a powerful 5,170 mAh battery, offering long-lasting performance for everyday use.
According to Huawei, the Pura 80 Ultra is the world’s first smartphone to house a pair of adjustable telephoto cameras placed one above the other, a breakthrough in mobile zoom technology.
