Date Milk Shake: 10-Min Recipe

A creamy drink that can power your day, a Date Milkshake is naturally sweet, nutritious and packed with energy & fibre.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 10-12 seedless khajoor or dates
  • 4-6 cashews

  • 1 pinch elaichi or cardamom powder
  • Ice cubes as required

Method

  • Cut the dates into small pieces.
    Blend in a mixer or blender with ½ cup milk.

  • Add the remaining milk along with the cardamom and blend well.
    Now add a few ice cubes and blend again.

  • Add a few ice cubes to two glasses.
    Divide the mixture between the two glasses and garnish with cashews; Serves 2.

Tips
For additional health, add 1 tbsp flaxseed while blending the milk shake and garnish with 1 tsp pre-soaked chia seeds along with the cashews.
