Ritu Kumar showcased a sustainable, environment friendly spring collection at the fashion week.
Designer Ritu Kumar joined the sustainability campaign with her latest spring collection.
Themed Mismatched, her collection boasted of eco-friendly fabrics and dyes. But it was Ritu's soya fabric saris that stole the limelight.
Take a look!
Ritu's collection beautifully blended traditional design elements with minimal modern silhouettes.
For those who love a little drama with sleeves, there were options in bell shapes, dolman, drop shoulder, batwing and balloon shaped designs.
Soft flowing midis and maxis with abstract prints were accessorised with tasselled scarves and interesting belts.
There were kaftans, shirts and fluid dresses with pleated detailing.
But the highlight of the collection was saris, made using soya-based fabrics. These breathable, cellulose fabrics are beautifully woven to make the wearer feel light and comfy.
