Designer Rahul Misra found the perfect face for his Project Eve collection in Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor.

For Shraddha Kapoor, Rahul Mishra, left, designed an embellished monsoon crane lehenga that is perfect for the Indian bride. He paired it with a hand embroidered muga silk magenta blouse and a delicately crafted scalloped dupatta in chintz.
Mishra stayed true to his roots, using Chanderis, Maheshwaris, and Banarasi for the lehengas, kurtas, dupattas and saris.
He played with a colour card began with pretty pastels and moved into festive hues of fuchsia, orange, red and then onto dramatic black and white.
Mishra also entwined chirping birds; kamal, genda and mogra flowers; and hints of Mughal architectural inspirations into the weaves.
The result was a majestic and colourful festive explosion.
