Romancing the Nilgiris
After waiting about two hours, the ride in the Nilgiri Passenger train seemed a bit of an anticlimax. 10 people were crammed in a space meant for six. I had much better views of the beautiful landscape from the bus earlier (actually, I was hardly able to shoot anything!).
The train journey, however, turned out to be surprisingly memorable when one of my co-passengers turned out to be a guy I had met during SSB Bhopal, 9 years ago.
Airfare for Rs 599 and less!
He recognized me when the TC (ticket collector) called out my name (I was the only one to be called, everyone else had got their tickets checked!) and I surprised even myself by instantaneously recognizing him!
