Designer duo Rahul and Firdos presented a breezy, airy summer-spring
collection on day two of Lakme Fashion Week.
While their peers have sought outstrip one another with bright colours
and intricate patterns, Rahul and Firdos focused almost entirely on
cuts, materials and silhouettes.
Their vision centred on purity and chastity, which they developed
through a reliance on shades of whites and the use of silks and light
cotton. The music was a confluence of western and Indian classical,
which further reinforced the refined and elegant nature of the line.
This short skirt features interesting cuts that give tremendous depth
and perspective to an otherwise unremarkable garment.
