What: The ministry of science & technology invites applications for Swarnajayanti Fellowships 2005-06 from Indians in India or abroad.

Fellowship details

~ The duration is five years.

Am I eligible? 

~ You could have a Master's degree in engineering or technology.

~ You could also have an MD (medicine).

Or

~ You must be between 30 and 40 years old as on December 31, 2005.

 ~ You have to be a PhD in science or engineering.

Selection method

A committee will make the final selection based on expert committees' recommendation

Note: Scientists selected for the award should have accomplished innovative original research in frontier areas of science and technology.
