What: Jamia Hamdard University now offers Vocational Degrees and Diplomas integrating UK qualifications from Edexcel International, UK through distance learning.

"The University, in its efforts to spread quality education of international standards to students through distance learning, is keen to offer degrees, like BSc - IT and MBA, integrating Edexcel's qualifications from the UK," says Professor Muhammad Iqbal, Vice Chancellor, Jamia Hamdard.

Are you eligible?

~ You must have completed Class XII under the 10+2 system.

About the programmes

~ They will incorporate the Business And Technology Education Counsel's Higher National Diploma in Business from Edexcel International UK, at the Bachelor's degree level in Management. 

~ On completion of your Bachelor's degree, based on admission criteria set up by the university, you will move to obtain a Diploma in Management Studies from Edexcel and an MBA from Jamia Hamdard.

~ The duration of the programmes is five years.

About the BTEC courses

~ Higher National Diplomas are programmes of work-related education for professionals and are generally accepted as a pass degree equivalent for employment purposes. 

~ The BTEC courses fall broadly into nine categories as follows:
