This Liverpool fan speaks five different languages and loves watching cricket besides football. His touching film on the plight of a quadriplegic woman won him a place in the final 18. Siraj has completed a diploma in filmmaking and hopes to win the Gateway contest.
He admires a plethora of directors like Darren Aronofsky, Abbas Kiarostami, Krystof Kieslowski, Steven Soderbergh, Francis Ford Coppola and was inspired by Mani Ratnam’s ‘Geethanjali’ to becoming a film maker.
