Silambarasan

Twenty-two-year-old Silambarasan, better known as Shimbu, is the son of veteran actor-director-producer T Rajendran. Shimbu's initiation into films started as a child, acting in most of his father's films -- 19, to be precise.

But his graduation into adult roles started with a disaster. His debut Kaadal Azhivathillai flopped.

His second, Dum, was a remake and a moderate hit in Tamil, but the Telugu and Kannada versions did not fare well.

Even though his films have not fared well at the box-office, he gets film offers and is considered to be one who can reach the top. Unlike the other young actors, Shimbu likes to act like a 'superstar' and is unapproachable.

He also imitates Rajnikant in his films. If the other youngsters are good actors, this young man prefers to flaunt his style.
