Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s labour of love, Khamoshi - The Musical, showcased Manisha’s talent and vulnerability as an actress.

Apart from looking stunningly gorgeous, Manisha worked really hard with a set of dedicated colleagues like Nana Patekar and Seema Biswas to study sign language for the film.

Due to a delay in submission of entries by the producers (Polygram) at the National Awards, Manisha missed out on winning the much-coveted Swarna Kamal for Best Actress.
