It's time that Govinda realised he wasn't God.

He can't control and manage every aspect of his career and life.

He has to get smart and do it soon if he wants to survive, let alone succeed.

Unlike Mithun Chakraborty, who also managed to win National Awards for acting and build a successful hotel business, Govinda is a total filmwallah.

What Govinda does need is good films, good banners, good directors, good scripts.

After his longtime collaborator, David Dhawan, began making movies with other stars, Govinda is said to have refused to ever work with him again.

The point is, what does he achieve from this blanket ban?

Maybe even a new look would be nice. A lean, mean physique, a rugged hairstyle...

Govinda Govinda needs to forget about the old Govinda, and create a new Govinda.

Not a totally different one, but an extension of himself that is better suited to the new climate of films and media. Audiences have grown younger and more demanding. He has to change with them.

But then again, what's right for Hrithik Roshan may not be right for Govinda. And what's wrong for Abhishek Bachchan may work brilliantly for Govinda.

It's up to him and him alone to decide what's right and what's not.

And coming late on the sets won't help at all!

He has a number of great qualities. If only Govinda can get Govinda to work on his behalf, he can achieve miracles.

The question is: Will Govinda ask himself for help?
