Farhan is the kind of director the industry hasn't seen for a long time. It take a lot of guts for a first time director to attempt what Farhan has done.

One could keep looking for different adjectives to describe the director but he is immensely talented.

While he was very clear about what he wanted, Farhan as a director gave us the freedom to broaden the character and actually took our suggestions and interpretations seriously.

Despite being a first-timer, he was the same on day one as he was on day 100. No second thoughts. No change in the way he directed or envisioned the film.
