'Everything' sorted out with RJD: Congress

May 21, 2004 20:59 IST

Laloo Prasad Yadav had put forth certain 'sensitive' demands for his party's participation in the central government.

The Congress party on Thursday said it has sorted out 'everything' with Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Laloo Prasad Yadav on the question of his party's participation in the coalition government headed by Manmohan Singh.

"We have sorted out everything with RJD leader Laloo Prasad Yadav," Congress Spokesman Kapil Sibal told PTI.

Earlier, Yadav had met Congress leaders Arjun Singh, R K Dhawan and Sibal and had put forth 'certain sensitive' suggestions relating to his party's participation in the government.

Asked about the oath taking ceremony, the spokesman said it is likely to take place tomorrow.

On the Common Minimum Programme, he said it is likely to be finalised in a day or two.
