Vajpayee to shift to another bungalow

May 14, 2004 22:10 IST

Atal Bihari Vajpayee will shift from the Prime Minister's official residence to 8, Krishna Menon Marg, a bungalow in New Delhi's high security zone, official sources said on Friday night.

Vajpayee, who resigned on Thursday following the National Democratic Alliance's defeat in the Lok Sabha polls, is expected to move out of 7, Race Course Road at the earliest, they said.

The Krishna Menon Marg bungalow was earlier occupied by former Union minister Murasoli Maran.
