Congress will choose CM: KCR

Now that the Congress has won in Andhra Pradesh, choosing the chief minister is its prerogative, Telengana Rashtra Samithi chief K Chandrasekhar Rao said on Tuesday.

The issue of separate statehood for Telengana has been "pending for the last 50 years", The TRS chief, an ally of the Congress, said.

He expressed hope that the Congress would keep its promise of a separate Telangana state.
