The Patna high court on Friday asked the Election Commission to consider countermanding elections to the constituencies where prisoners, whose voting right had been suspended under the election laws, had entered the fray.
A division bench comprising Chief Justice Ravi S Dhawan and Justice Shashank Kumar Singh passed the order on a public interest litigation seeking disqualification of those who entered the poll fray from jail.
