Is India shining?
I think India is shining. The economy is improving. Politics, thanks to the media, has become more transparent. The media has become very harsh. For example, take the tehelka scam. The fear of being exposed is making politics better. Corruption seems to be lessening. There's a feel good factor in politics as well.
Politics is not about goondas anymore. Well-read and intelligent people are now coming in.
But there should be more opportunities for foreign investment. It must be more lucrative for them. Red-tapism should decrease and India must become a friendlier place for foreign investors.
Will you vote?
I will not be able to vote this year, as I will be in Kolkata, shooting for my bilingual film Devki.

My message to readers is this: Be responsible. Make a difference. Get out there and express your opinion!
