In 1998, no one gave the modest, Convent of Jesus and Mary, Miranda House-educated, politician-by-default a chance to survive in the whirlpool of the capital's politics. Dikshit is seen here waving to supporters after filing her nomination papers at the Patiala House courts in New Delhi on Friday, November 14.
