Condition of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi stable

The condition of ailing Gujarat caretaker Chief Minister Narendra Modi is 'stable' and reports of his angiography tests are normal.

"Modi will be kept under observation for some more time and few tests will be performed in the evening," cardiologist Dr Samir Dani, who performed the tests at U N Mehta Heart Institute of Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad, said.

Modi was shifted from Gandhinagar Civil Hospital, where he was admitted on Thursday following complaint of 'extreme fatigue and body ache', to the heart institute on Saturday morning for the tests.

Former chief minister Keshubhai Patel called on Modi to enquire about his health.
