"Anyone can submit any report but the ground reality is different," he said.
There will be a 'definite division' of votes along communal lines "but we will win with a thumping majority," Minister of State for Home Gordhan Zadaphia told PTI.
When asked about the growing resentment in the party over distribution of tickets, including absence of former minister of state for home Haren Pandya's name in the candidates' list so far, Zadaphia said he was certain 'Pandya will get the ticket' but did not comment on the constituency.
He said unrest among party members over ticket distribution 'is momentary and things will settle down'.
Zadaphia did not anticipate any trouble during the polls as 'everyone and all political parties want peace'.
Security arrangement are being made as per the Election Commission's guidelines for peaceful, free and fair elections in the state, Zadaphia said.
