Shankarsinh Vaghela on Sunday conceded defeat in the Gujarat assembly elections saying the people did not appear to be interested in the issues raised by the Congress, Gujarat Congress chief told Aaj Tak news channel.

The Congress had focused on development and economic issues during the election campaign.
