Attack on BJP candidate in Ahmedabad

A group of people on Thursday attacked Amit Shah, BJP candidate from Sarkhej constituency, when he went to visit a polling booth in the Sankalip Nagar area in Juhapura in Ahmedabad.

"Shah escaped from the spot, but his vehicle was damaged," Harshad Patel, his election agent, told rediff.com.
