'The Gandhi clan has completely destroyed the nation'
Our politicians are a disgrace. They stoop so low. They pick an issue to which a particular community is sensitive and they then target those communities. They cash in on the Muslims, dalits and other minorities. They don't really care for these people. The minorities only serve as a vote bank for them.
Today when you are seeking a job in any company, they ask for at least a management degree. They insist on some relevant experience. Without these basic requirements, they don't even consider you for an interview. But for running something as huge as a nation, why don't they specify these minimum qualifications? Why isn't a nation looked at as an organisation? It's so weird.
I think the entire Gandhi family is responsible for the present state of our country. That clan has completely destroyed the nation to say the least. How many of us actually know about Indira Gandhi? She dismissed the finance minister and the very same evening she nationalised all banks without proper planning. That's why public sector banks are functioning so badly today.
Now we see another ambitious Gandhi. Wonder what she has in store for us! The issue really isn't Sonia Gandhi's nationality at all. It's whether she has the necessary experience or not. And she doesn't. Even Rabri Devi is an Indian; but what matters is whether one has something in the head or not... and both these women don't!
I do believe that we, the youth, can be good politicians tomorrow. But the way the entire system is structured, I don't think I would be able to do anything unless I get my hands dirty. It's sad that even those who enter into politics with a clean motive finally end up doing the same thing. The fault lies with the whole system actually.
People today are becoming more and more indifferent towards the country. They say 'We voted last time nothing happened, why should we vote again??' I think our politicians are to be blamed for this attitude.
I myself would never enter politics though I believe that we can all make our own contributions towards the country. So what if it's something as small as not littering the streets? At least you are not violating the rules.
I think that the Bharatiya Janata Party government has had very little time to prove itself. So it wouldn't be fair to pass a judgment on them so soon. They need to be given some more time. Not that I am very impressed by them, but frankly speaking we do not have a choice here. The BJP is definitely worth considering.
Our politicians fail to fuel any hope in my mind. I strongly feel that they cannot do much for their countrymen. I believe it'll happen in the reverse. Things will start happening at the industry level and the government will have to sit up and take notice. There will be such a high demand of things that the government will have to meet them. The common man is going to be the ruler soon.
