Moopanar alleges large-scale rigging by DMK, AIADMK

Tamil Maanila Congress president G K Moopanar today alleged large-scale rigging in the second phase of polling for 20 Lok Sabha constituencies in Tamil Nadu today.

Talking to reporters at the party headquarters in Madras, he said reports of bogus voting he had received from party leaders and cadres showed that there was no free and fair poll in the state. It was the responsibility of the Election Commission and the state government to ensure a free and fair poll, he pointed out. Moopanar charged both the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and the opposition All India Anna DMK with rigging the poll.
