LS to be constituted tomorrow

The 13th Lok Sabha will be duly constituted tomorrow by the Election Commission to pave the way for the formation of a new government at the Centre.

The notification constituting the new House will be issued by the Election Commission tomorrow as scheduled. It will be signed by Chief Election Commissioner M S Gill and Election Commissioner J M Lyndoh.

Dr Gill and Lyndoh will later call on President K R Narayanan to present him a copy of the notification containing the names of all the elected members, their constituencies and affiliations with political parties.

The notification will not include four constituencies in Bihar and one in Assam (Dhubri) where polling will be held on October 28 as well as Outer Manipur where a repoll will be held the same day.
