Pak yet to learn a lesson: Advani

Sandesh Prabhudesai in Panaji

"Pakistan is yet to learn a lesson and only the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government can teach them a lesson," said Union Home Minister Lal Kishenchand Advani.

Addressing a meeting in Goa, Advani has focused on Kargil, giving clear signals the party would fully exploit the issue.

He, however, did not claim in his 40-minute-long speech that the BJP was responsible for the victory.

After the Kargil debacle, Pakistan has once again started its proxy war in Jammu and Kashmir.

He described the BJP as the 'nation first' party.

Though he reminded the audience of 50 years of Congress misrule, he did not utter a word against Congress president Sonia Gandhi's foreign origin.

Local BJP leaders, however, appealed to the people not to vote for the Congress as it was led by a person of foreign origin.
