IPL PHOTOS: Delhi Daredevils vs Mumbai Indians

Delhi Daredevils beat Mumbai Indians by nine wickets, with three overs to spare, to register their first win in IPL 6 after six defeats.

Virender Sehwag scored a blistering 95 off 57 balls, which was inclusive of 13 boundaries and two sixes.

He was unlucky to missed out on a century.

Earlier, Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to bat at the Ferozshah Kotla.

Sachin Tendulkar and Dwayne Smith opened the batting for Mumbai.

Sachin Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma steadied the Mumbai Indians innings. The 50-run partnership for the third wicket was attained courtesy a single by Sharma.

Umesh Yadav finally got Tendulkar (54) out, having him caught by David Warner at extra cover.

The Master Blaster's 47-ball knock was inclusive of three boundaries and two sixes; he put on 96 runs for the third wicket with Sharma.

Umesh Yadav's last over was expensive; it cost Delhi 14 runs.

However, he had the last laugh, having Rohit (73) caught by Andre Russell. He ended with figures of two for 31.

Rohit's 43-ball innings was inclusive of five boundaries and an equal number of sixes.

Mumbai put up 161 for four in their stipulated 20 overs.

Sehwag's fifty puts Delhi in control

Mahela Jayawardene opened the batting with Virender Sehwag for Delhi.

Sehwag batted with aggression. He smashed his first fifty in 10 innings.

Sehwag completed 2,000 IPL runs, the seventh batsman to achieve the feat.
