Amit Mishra bagged four wickets in five deliveries, including a hat-trick, as Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Pune Warriors by 11 runs in a low-scoring Pepsi Indian Premier League match, in Pune, on Wednesday.

The ace leg-spinner struck with the second, fourth, fifth and sixth deliveries of his final over, as Warriors, chasing 120 runs, were dismissed for 108 in 19 overs.

His figures of 4 for 19 earned him the man of the match award.

Earlier, Pune Warriors won the toss and asked Sunrisers Hyderabad to bat.

Pune slumped from 101 for 4 in the 17th over to 108 all out in 19 overs as Mishra got his third hat-trick over the six editions of the cash-rich T20 league.

"It is better to be batting second," reasoned captain Angelo Mathews.

Cameron White, his opposite number, didn't seem too perturbed.

"We're happy to be batting first," he said.

Sunrisers' captain Kumar Sangakkara dropped himself from the playing eleven to make way for South African opener Quinton de Kock, but the move didn't pay off.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled an inspirational spell to grab three for 17 in his four-over spell, as he polished the Sunrisers' top-half within the first six overs.

Ashok Dinda (1/25 in 4 overs) was also impressive as the duo put tremendous pressure on the top-order.

The slide started with opener De Kock being caught in the covers off Dinda.

In his second, and the team's third, over, Bhuvneshwar cleaned up Parthiv Patel (12) and Cameron White off successive deliveries.

Odisha all-rounder Biplab Samantray tried his bit along with Karan Sharma and took the score to 41.

Samantray's gutsy knock finally ended when he holed out in the deep to give Rahul Sharma his second scalp.

Amit Mishra and Ashish Reddy added 40 runs for the eighth wicket that took the score past 100.

Pune Warriors were off to a good start, hitting five boundaries in the first three overs to race to 28 from three.

All-rounder Thisara Perera brought Hyderabad back in the contest with a double strike in his first over.

Mishra completed his third hat-trick in the IPL when he bowled Ashok Dinda through the gate with the googly.

Sunrisers registered their fourth win in six matches, while it was the fourth defeat for Warriors.
