Mumbai drop Kulkarni, include Bahutule

Mumbai's selection committee, headed by Padmakar Shivalkar, dropped veteran left-arm spinner Nilesh Kulkarni and included another seasoned

campaigner, leg spinner Sairaj Bahutule, in the team for the season's first Ranji Trophy tie against Rajasthan in Mumbai next month.

Bahutule returned to the Mumbai fold after playing for Maharashtra in the 2007-08 season.

The squad, to be led by opener Wasim Jaffer [Images], includes young slow bowler Ankit Chavan and medium pacer Rohan Raje, who were members of the Mumbai Indians' [Images] IPL side.

The November 3-6 Elite Division match will be played at the Cricket Club of India's, Brabourne Stadium.

The squad: Wasim Jaffer (captain), Ajit Agarkar [Images] (vice-captain), Ajinkya Rahane, Sahil Kukreja, Amol Muzumdar, Rohit Sharma, Abhishek Nayar, Sairaj Bahutule, Ranmesh Powar, Vinayak Samant (wk), Usman Malvi, Dhaval Kulkarni, Ankit Chavan, Rohan Raje and Hiken Shah.
