Virendra Sehwag, the Nawab of Najafgarh, who scored 319 during the Chennai Test against South Africa has said that there was no difference between him and one day captain of the Indian team Mahindra Singh Dhoni [Images].

"These are all the making of the media. There is no difference between the two," he said while answering questions during the launch of the Indian Premier League team from the capital, the Delhi Daredevils.

He admitted that his 319 against the South African team was a welcome return of form before the launch of the major Twenty 20 tournament.

"I plan to lead the team from the front. We have Gautam Gambhir [Images], Shoaib Malik [Images] and Mohammad Asif [Images] to play for our team. We are playing to win the tournament," he said.

Talking about the controversy that he was dropped from the team despite the fact that he was fully fit, Sehwag said,  "I was clarifying the news reports about my fitness." Veeru said that of late there had been some talk about his form in the media circles and he has let his bat do the talking.

He denied that the game has lost its charm and hence the film stars are being roped in to help boosting the game and get money. Noted film star Akshay Kumar [Images], who has been roped in as the brand ambassador of the team, agreed.

"People who pay Rs 100 per ticket want to be entertained. What can be better if they see cricketers and bollywood together.

"Sometimes back I made a film called Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and there were a whole lot of cricketers in it. Do I say that the Bollywood has lost its glamour?" he added.
