Australia [Images] left-arm pacer Mitchell Johnson is unhappy with the lack of enough practice games ahead of their Test series against India in October and said it would make the series more harder for them.

Australia are scheduled to play just one four-day match before the first Test begins in Bangalore on October 9.

"It's probably not ideal. We probably want a few more games before that, but that's the way it is. We've got one game before so we'll have to go back to our states and work pretty hard and try to do the best we can there to prepare as well, as we can for India," he said.

"It's always hard to prepare for India, which has such different conditions than here, so it is going to be tough. I think we will manage," he was quoted saying in Australian newspaper The Age.

Johnson though said he is looking forward to the Border-Gavaskar series.

"Playing one-day cricket there I know how hard it is. But to play Test cricket, with the wickets and playing five-day cricket, it's going to be extremely hard. But it's a challenge I'm looking forward to." he added.

According to reports, Cricket Australia is in process to organise extra sessions for the players to get acclimatised to Indian conditions.

Australia are scheduled to play four Test matches in India -- Bangalore (Oct 9-13), Mohali (Oct 17-21), Delhi [Images] (Oct 29-Nov 2) and Nagpur (Nov 6-10).
