Sri Lanka [Images] captain Mahela Jayawardene [Images] won the toss and elected to bat in the fifth and final one-day international against India in Colombo on Friday.

Having already won the series, India left out Subramaniam Badrinath, Harbhajan Singh [Images] and Praveen Kumar and drafted in Pragyan Ojha, R P Singh and Irfan Pathan [Images].

For Sri Lanka, Muttiah Muralitharan [Images], Chaminda Vaas [Images] and Tillakaratne Dilshan [Images] made way for Dilhara Fernando, Jehan Mubarak and Mahela Udawatte.

India beat Sri Lanka by 46 runs in the fourth ODI on Wednesday to clinch the five-match series 3-1.

India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni [Images] (captain), Gautam Gambhir [Images], Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh [Images], Rohit Sharma, Irfan Pathan, R P Singh, Zaheer Khan [Images], Pragyan Ojha, Munaf Patel [Images].

Sri Lanka: Mahela Jayawardene (captain), Sanath Jayasuriya [Images], Malinda Warnapura, Kumar Sangakkara, Chamara Kapugedera, Michael Vandort, Mahela Udawatte, Nuwan Kulasekara [Images], Thilan Thushara, Ajantha Mendis [Images], Dilhara Fernando.
