Scotland captain Ryan Watson won the toss and elected to field against India in the ICC [Images] Twenty20 World Cup Group D match in Durban on Thursday.

The start of the match, however, was delayed due to rain.

Showers forced both teams to abandon their warm-ups and head indoors just an hour before the scheduled start.

The covers were brought out but after a brief spell the rain stopped. The two skippers came out for the toss before rains came again.

Teams:

India: MS Dhoni [Images] (captain), V Sehwag, R Uthappa, G Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh [Images], D Karthik, Harbhajan Singh [Images], I Pathan, RP Singh, A Agarkar, S Sreesanth [Images].

Scotland: R Watson (captain), DF Watts, NS Poonia, GM Hamilton, NFI McCallum, DR Brown, CJO Smith, R Haq, CM Wright, JAR Blain, JD Nel.
