Vice-captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was recovering well from the viral fever that kept him out of the one-dayer against Ireland, Indian team sources said on Sunday.

"John Gloster has been checking on him (Dhoni) and he is doing well," the sources said.

Incidentally, Gloster himself has been injured, having broken his hand while practice two days ago.

Meanwhile, the Indian team opted not to hold a practice session today due to the inclement weather.

They were planning to visit the Giants Causeway, a famous tourist attraction, as guests of the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.
