Aftab Ahmed blasted 92 off 77 balls on Saturday to help lift Bangladesh to a one-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in the fourth and final one-day international and a series 3-1 victory.

Zimbabwe totalled 244 for eight in 50 overs and Bangladesh reached 246 for nine with 16 balls to spare.

Ahmed hammered six fours and five sixes, but Bangladesh were on tenterhooks when they lost their ninth wicket in the 46th over with three runs still required.

The last pair of Abdur Razzak (not out 4) and Shahadat Hossain (not out 0) proved up to the task and the winning runs were scored eight balls after the ninth wicket fell.

Elton Chigumbura had earlier lit a fire under Zimbabwe's innings with 77 not out off 57 balls, including seven sixes.
