Murali Kartik was denied a 10-wicket match haul after returning three for 52 which helped Middlesex claim an innings and 71-run victory against Glamorgan in their Division Two County Championship cricket match at Lord's.

The Indian left-arm spinner, who bagged a superb six for 21 in Glamorgan's first innings, was denied the feat when Alan Richardson trapped Alex Wharf leg before wicket to wrap the match before lunch on the third day.

The Welsh county, 120-6 overnight, was bowled out for 184 in 64.1 overs when former England [Images] all-rounder Wharf fell after scoring 55.
