Australia elect to bat against India

Australian captain Ricky Ponting [Images] won the toss and elected to bat against India in the third one-day international of the DLF Cup tri-series at the Kinrara Oval in Kuala Lumpur.

Yuvraj Singh [Images], who was out of the first match with an illness, returns to the Indian side in place of Mohammad Kaif.

India lost their first match against the West Indies [Images] by 29 runs by the Duckworth-Lewis method on Thursday while Australia won their opening match against West Indies.

Australia made three changes to the team that beat the Caribbean team by 78 runs in the series opener on Tuesday.

Simon Katich, Dan Cullen and Nathan Bracken [Images] made way for Damien Martyn, Brad Hogg [Images] and Stuart Clark.

India: Rahul Dravid [Images] (captain), Sachin Tendulkar [Images], Irfan Pathan [Images], Virender Sehwag [Images], Yuvraj Singh, M S Dhoni [Images], Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh [Images], Ajit Agarkar [Images], Rudra Pratap Singh, Munaf Patel [Images].
