The orthopaedic surgeon said Tendulkar is beginning to feel more comfortable wearing a sling and was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday evening.

Tendulkar underwent arthroscopic surgery on Monday to stabilize his shoulder joint and reattach a damaged biceps tendon to his upper arm bone.

According to Wallace, the shoulder injury is not as serious as the tennis elbow he was afflicted by a year-and-a-half ago.
