Bangladesh beat Kenya by 20 runs in the third one-day international on Thursday to take a winning 3-0 lead in the four-match series.

With the series victory, Bangladesh have secured a place in the qualifying round of the ICC [Images] Champions Trophy in India in October.

It is Bagladesh's second series victory after beating Zimbabwe 3-2 at home last year. The final match will be played on the same ground on Saturday.

Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bat, recovering from the loss of early wickets to reach 231 all out in 45.5 overs.

Opener Javed Omar was removed by Thomas Odoyo for one with the total on eight in the fourth over and at one stage the home side were 68 for four but half centuries from opener Shahriar Nafees (57) and Alok Kapali (55) steadied the innings.

Kenya were all out for 211 in 49.2 overs with Bangladeshi spinner Mohammad Rafiqur taking five wickets for 47 runs to be named man of the match.

Tanmay Mishra top scored with 48 for the visitors.
