Mahendra Singh Dhoni's [Images] batting exploits in Pakistan vaulted him to third place in the latest ICC [Images] one-day batting rankings.

The wicketkeeper-batsman, who scored 219 runs in the five-match one-day series, jumped six places to a career-best third, behind the Australian duo of Adam Gilchrist [Images] and Ricky Ponting [Images].

Yuvraj Singh [Images], the top scorer in the one-day series, also took a big leap in the rankings. The left-hander moved to ninth, a rung above his captain, Rahul Dravid [Images].

Yuvraj was declared the man of the Pakistan series after emerging the top scorer with 344 runs in five matches.

Meanwhile, Sachin Tendulkar [Images] slipped seven places to 17th.

Irfan Pathan [Images] is the only Indian bowler in the top 10 bowlers' list.

Pathan, with a haul of nine wickets in four matches against Pakistan, is fourth in the bowlers' rankings. He also improved his position on the all-rounders' rankings to fourth.
