Sreesanth indulges in impromptu dance
December 18, 2006

SreesanthIndian seamer S Sreesanth's [Images] dancing skills came to the fore on the cricket field on Sunday when he produced an impromptu performance during the third day's play in the first cricket Test against South Africa.

The Kerala [Images] cricketer was batting in India's second innings when, after hoisting South African fast bowler Andre Nel [Images] for a six, he started swinging his bat and hip in merry.

Sreesanth is known to be a self-taught expert in dance.

However, his sudden indulgence in his favourite past-time, in full cricket gear, was his own way of giving it back to the bowler who had taunted him verbally after beating his bat of the previous ball.

It remains to be seen whether the ICC [Images] match referee hauls either of the players up for their behaviour.
