India and Pakistan would play three Tests and seven one-day internationals each when they play each other in the next two series, a top PCB official said on Thursday.

"We (Pakistan) will play three Tests and seven ODIs when we come to India (in 2007-08) and India will play as many matches when they visit us again," Salim Altaf, PCB Director of Operation, said in New Delhi.

"Whereas the last time we came here it was six and India played only five one-dayers when they came to Pakistan this year," he added.

Altaf was responding to a question on the increased number of matches while announcing the global rights winner for India's matches at neutral venues in the next five years.

India and Pakistan are to play two ODIs at Abu Dhabi on April 18 and 19.

"PCB has a written commitment to BCCI to play 15 one-dayers (besides the bilateral tours) in the next five years," Altaf said.
