Both Dravid and Dhoni ended the series with an average of 100-plus. This provided only the third and fourth instances of Indian batsmen ending a series or tournament with an average of 100-plus while scoring atleast 300 runs. Dravid's average is now the second best by an Indian. The details:

Dhoni ended the series with 346 runs against his name. His tally is the highest by an Indian wicket-keeper in any series (or tournament). Interestingly the previous record was held by none other than current captain Rahul Dravid [Images], who aggregated 318 runs as a make-shift keeper in 2002-03 World Cup.
