England [Images] and Zimbabwe have agreed to cancel the two Test matches that were postponed during last year's tour.

The matches were postponed after the International Cricket Council took away Zimbabwe's Test status, which has since been returned.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Zimbabwe Cricket have agreed it will not be possible to reschedule the matches.

The two bodies also reached an "amicable decision" on the cancelled fifth one-day international from the same tour, the ECB said in a statement on Wednesday.

England are next scheduled to tour Zimbabwe in 2009.
