The schedule for Bangladesh's tour of Sri Lanka [Images] has been amended with the start date moved forward and all games shifted to Colombo.

The tourists will arrive on the island on August 25 and start a three-match one-day series on August 31 to be followed by a two-match Test series beginning on September 12.

R. Premadasa International Stadium, the island's largest cricket stadium, has also been given a Test match for the first time since New Zealand [Images] beat Sri Lanka in June 1998.

The venue has a reputation for high-scoring after Sri Lanka piled up 952-6 against India in 1997 with Sanath Jayasuriya [Images] blasting 340.

Schedule:

Aug 31 - First ODI, Sinhalese Sports Club

Sept 2 - Second ODI, R. Premadasa Stadium (day-night)

Sept 4 - Third ODI, R. Premadasa Stadium (day-night)

Sept 7 - Three-day practice game, Colombo

Sept 12 - First Test, P. Saravanamuttu Stadium

Sept 20 - Second Test, R. Premadasa Stadium
